One of the massive unconventional non-associated gas field in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Jafurah gas field project located in southeast of the Ghawar oil field and contains approximately 200 trillion cubic feet of liquid gas resources.

The main objective of this project is to ensure Safaniyah Onshore Plants will meet and maintain the forecasted crude oil rates at Maximum Sustainable Capability. This will be met by increasing the Arab Heavy Crude processing capacity from 1,200 MBCD to 1,300 MBCD and the produced Water Handling Capacity from 810 MBCD to 1,500 MBCD.

Fire Protection for Sulfur & Storage Facilities

The purpose of this project is to provide Fire Protection System for Terminal Sulfur and Stacker Reclaim Building (TSSRB) and Belt Conveyor area in the Sulfur Forming Unit of Marine Terminal Facilities in Jizan.
The facility shall be provided with a fire protection system as per classification stated in the Saudi Aramco Building Code (SAES-M-100) and addressable fire detection / alarm system. The fire protection, detection and alarm system shall comply with all relevant NFPA Standards. The fire alarm system shall be interfaced with the local HVAC plant shutting down designated systems in the event of a fire within the building. A remote alarm signal shall also be generated for site-wide monitoring of the building fire condition.

Saudi Aramco’s Hawiyah Unayzah Gas Reservoir Storage (HUGRS) will introduce surplus sales gas into existing well during winter and reproduce gas to match the increase in demand in the summer. Its facilities includes Gas Injection Facility with a capacity of 1.5 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) and a Gas Reprocessing Facility of 2 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD).

The purpose of this BI-10-00934 is to restrict the release of flammable hydrocarbon liquids and sour oily water during normal operation and turnaround and inspection (T&I) activities into the general sewers and oily water lift stations which releases H2S and flammable vapor mixtures into the surrounding areas and places the facility under the risk of fire and pollution.
The aim of this project is to control the safety and environmental risks at the industrial drainage and dewatering systems in line with Corporate Objectives of intensifying the focus on safety and protection of the environment.
ARCC's scope includes civil and structural to carry out modifications to existing 18 nos. Oily Water Lift Stations at various plants and construction of 2 new Oily Water Lift Stations at Plant 64A & 102, piping, mechanical and electrical & instrumentation works.

Vacuum Gas Oil (HVGO) product was caused by improper location of Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) overflash feed nozzle to Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU). This leads to Diesel limitation and lower throughput by 8 MBD. Therefore rerouting to Vacuum Heater Z09-F-0101 is required. HOwever, Vacuum Heater is exceeding design limit with shorter run length of 2- 2.5 years due to excessive coke formation, which eventually leads to tubes high skin temperature.

The Convection Section Upgrade is intended to overcome the draft limitations caused by burning low H2 contents fuel which generates higher flue gas flow rates at same furnace. The Convection Section was re-designed to process Fresh Ethane Feed at 18.4 t/a and high pressure steam production at 22 t/h and with flexibility to support the future installation of Feed Saturator. The upgrade is based on the recommendation of OEM (Technip Energies) wherein the inspection is conducted on 10~11 August 2021.
